Fallout Shelter update adds 3D Touch support, scrapping, more

Update 1.5 has been released for Fallout Shelter, the mobile-only vault management game. The update brought with it the new scrapping feature, which allows you to scrap unwanted items and turn them into junk, which can later be used in crafting.

New civilian outfits have also been added, which can be find in lunchboxes or crafted. The in-game barbershop has received new options, including one to make vault dwellers look like Ghouls.

The biggest change by far, however, is the addition of 3D Touch for owners of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Using 3D Touch, you can directly load into any of your vaults from the app icon, without the need to go through the menu.

3D Touch can also be used to assign dwellers to rooms or access storage by tapping any of the storage rooms.
