Fallout: New Vegas mod recreates original Fallout

Fallout fans are hoping to recreate the story experience of the original game for those who can't deal with isometric tactics.
As you'll see in the video below, things kick off just as you'd expect - the Overseer sending you on your journey to track down a new water chip. This was all the motivation we needed in 1997.
Although battles and hubs are played like a modern Fallout title, the mod recreates the earlier games' map traversal, which is super cool.
This is a pretty ambitious project and has been in the works for at least two years, but this is our first proper look at the mod in action. If you're keen, you can follow along on NexusMods or Facebook.
