Bethesda just released its final planned update for the year but the developers are teasing more planned for 2019 including some kind of PvP mode.
Today's hotfix update adds Korean language support to PC as well as some general fixes and repairs. There will be another update mid-January that will include many more fixes and a fix for the Lever-Action Rifle reload animation, perk cards, and crowd control at Whitespring.
Bethesda is also testing a new mode it says you can play either by working together, or not, and that it will have no PvP restrictions. Currently engaging in PvP is kind of a multi-step process with both players agreeing to combat, but without restrictions who knows what can happen.
The company also apologizes for not explaining through some of the balance changes in its patch notes, so going forward starting in 2019 patch notes will come with brief thoughts from developers as to why certain changes are being made in Fallout 76.
While Fallout 76 might have experienced a rocky launch both in and outside of the game, Bethesda has been issuing updates and fixes at a steady and regular pace. Whether it will be enough to help turn the conversation surrounding the game remains to be seen.
