Fallout 4 video makes a case for why you should visit Nuka-World and be part of a raider gang
The once family-friendly park of Nuka-World has taken quite a turn in the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout 4.
With the release of Fallout 4's Nuka-World DLC, due out tomorrow, the season of post-launch content releases for the game will be wrapped up.
Nuka-World is a big one, however, perhaps as big or even bigger than Far Harbor, in terms of content. Nuka-World is set in the park of the same name, a once family-friendly theme park that's been taken over by raiders after the collapse, and allows you to be the bad guy by joining their ranks.
In the developer diary video above, Bethesda explains how becoming a raider in this add-on is different from any other role Fallout 4 has offered before. The raiders faction only occupies Nuka-Town USA at the start of the DLC's story, but you get to help them take over the rest of the park.
Each of the rest of the parks are mini-towns, and they each have a specific theme. Nuka-Galaxy is the sci-fi, futuristic take on the Fallout universe, whereas Dry Rock Gulch lets you live your wild west fantasies.
We also get introduced to the three different raider factions available, the brutal Disciples, the stealthy Operators, and the Pack, the lunatics of the bunch. Bethesda explains that although the goal is to rule the raiders, it's taken steps to make sure players who don't want to create chaos can also play the DLC.
