Fallout 4 isn't coming to PS3 or Xbox 360 as it "will never work" on the consoles

Fallout 4 isn't in development for last-gen consoles, despite what the official website's source code showed earlier this week.

According to a post on NeoGAF from Bethesda's global community lead Matt Grandstaff, Fallout 4 will skip last-gen because the "stuff we’re doing will never work there," he said.

When Bethesda officially announced Fallout 4 on June 3, neither PS3 nor Xbox 360 were mentioned, which isn't really much of a surprise. The source code, which I am not super great at interpreting for any website, may have been referring to other content on the back end.

Whatever the case, it's for PC, PS4 and Xbox One only.

Bethesda’s E3 showcase will take place the Sunday evening before E3 and the media will get a 20-30 minute behind closed doors demo at the annual E3 show. Hopefully, we'll learn more about the latest entry in the series come June 14.
