Fallout 4: Nuka-World introduces a new magazine with an interesting set of perks and bonuses for those willing to put in the time: Scav!

We've listed the locations of Scav! magazine issues below, but before you five right in there's something you should know: Scav! Issue #5 offers scaling bonuses you can manipulate to your advantage. Don't just run around Fallout 4: Nuka-World randomly picking up issues until you understand what's going on with that one, or you might miss out on a sweet bonus.

With that little caveat out of the way, here's where you can find each issue of Scav! as well as what bonuses it offers a brave Fallout 4: Nuka-World adventurer. Collect all five to earn the Diebrarian achievement.

  • Scav! Issue #1: increased persuasion success chance
Found in the Galactic Zone, in the employee-only area at ground level around the Star Control tower. Look for a bus, and then search nearby for some boxes and a loot chest.
  • Scav! Issue #2: +25% damage with combat knife and switchblade
Found in a barn on the east side of the Junkyard, which is in the west of the map. You'll visit this location during the Hubologist questline Trip the the Stars, and the magazine is found on the desk on the upper floor right by a part you'll be asked to track down - and a Star Core, as it happens.
  • Scav! Issue #3: +10% unarmed damage
In the Funhouse, a dungeon in the Kiddie Kingdom section. Enter the spinning tunnels from the hall of mirrors side, take the first right and then turn left and move forward till you hit the wall. Glance down and right to spot the magazine near a corpse in this dead end.
  • Scav! Issue #4: +5% explosives damage
For this one you'll ened to enter the Grandchester Mystery Mansion, a dungeon in the southwest of the Nuka-World map. The path to the magazine is through a locked employee's only door near the exit sign at the end of the tour; after picking the lock, climb the stairs and search the workroom to spot the issue on your right as you enter.
  • Scav! Issue #5: varying SPECIAL rewards, see explanation below
This is the important one: Scav! Issue #5 will grant you a bonus to your base strength and endurance stats, but the more caps you have, the smaller the bonus. If you're carrying 100 caps or less you'll score a +3 bonus to both stats; between 100 and 1,000 you'll get +2, and from 1,000 caps upwards you'll only get +1. Booo. For best results, spend up all your cash before you go to grab this one. It's found on a table on a rooftop in the Dry Rock Gulch Theater.

That's your lot. Assuming you can pick locks and survive the baddies around the map, you can collect every issue of Scav! Magazine as soon as you clear the Gauntlet and can roam the Fallout 4: Nuka World map freely.
