Fallout 4 mod spotlight: Bullet Time

A new Fallout 4 mod offers an alternative to VATS for those who like things a bit more twitchy.

Fallout 4 straddles the line between RPG and shooter, but not everybody's in love with VATS and its implementation.

Bullet Time - Slow Time by registrator2000 is designed to provide an alternative. Instead of entering VATS, stuck to the spot and with a fixed chance of each shot hitting, you can continue to move around and must do the aiming yourself.

The default setting can be toggled at any time but drains AP while in use. The mod is fully customisable so you can adjust or disable AP drain - but doing that would tip your use of the mod over from cool alternative to cheating, really.

The only down side I can see is no more killcam showing off exploding heads, but on the other hand you get more organic slow motion views of your successes.
