Fallout 4 mod makes in-game map a lot more readable

There's nothing mods can't fix in Fallout 4. Well, most things anyway.

Fallout 4, like earlier games in the series, relies on the same old Pip-Boy for doing everything. This includes navigating the wasteland via the map.

Because of the wearable computer's limited screen size, making use of that map can be cumbersome, especially in repeated use. Thankfully, you can make this situation a little better by using a new mod.

The mod, by NexusMods user mm137, is aptly named Improved Map with Visible Roads. What it does is replace the original map with another that clearly shows roads, waterlines, etc. This is done by increasing the contrast of the map itself quite a bit.

The mod also offers an in-between version that's brighter than vanilla, but darker than the mod's edit.

Take a look at the results, alongside some comparison shots.
