Fake - Modern Warfare 3 to sport 32 player deathmatch, "Bomb Mode"

A spurious video doing the rounds today is claimed to come from a guy who "gained access" to the Xbox 360s set up for Call of Duty XP. It supposedly reveals new Modern Warfare 3 intel, but is mainly just good for a laugh.

The video has since been removed from YouTube, but you can see some screen grabs on SFX-360, which apparently first spotted it in the wild.

You can see a map set in Paris which boasts 32 players and suitability for "bomb" mode; it's labelled "build for XP event".

However, you'll also note the text on screen:

"A huge area for a great team work and for a nice game. Most compatible for Team Deathmatch and Bomb."

Call of Duty's not a series known for its high falutin' text but this seems a little ... illiterate.

No explanation is given for how the source got hold of the build ahead of the Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles this weekend. Steph will be attending, and will no doubt report on the existence or otherwise of a 32-player Deathmatch or Bomb mode - but don't take this video as evidence for either.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 releases for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November.
