F1 2013 dated for October release

F1 2013 developer Codemasters has dated its racing sim for an October launch on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
The game will hit all formats on October 4, and to celebrate the announcement Codemasters has released some hot lap footage from the game's Hungaroring circuit.
It shows Daniel Ricciardo tearing around the track while former racer and consultant on the game Anthony Davidson dispenses knowledge on how to properly attack corners and such.

The game features a classic mode that brings together drivers, cars and circuits from the '80s and '90s. Check out the details here.
