F1 2010 head tracking support is for PC only

Codemasters has told CVG that head tracking support for F1 2010 is PC-exclusive.

Speaking with the site in an interview, senior producer Paul Jeal said that the developers are also not implementing any of the new motion controllers at this point.

"We're currently going through controller support [with head tracking]," he said. "At the moment we've got a couple of eye-type devices that, if you turn your head slightly left and right you can turn the camera. At the moment, we've got what works in Dirt 2 - we've got a device on PC called the IR Tracker.

"[But] Natal -not at this stage. We did look at it at one stage, but I think if we were going to do it we'd like to do it properly. But for F1 2010 there were too many ideas in the pool, and I don't think we could have done the tech justice.

"PS Eye we've not really looked at."

Yesterday, it was revealed that the game would include 12 player, objective-based online multiplayer.

It's slated for September on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
