Eurogamer unveils PC-centric show Rezzed, takes place in July
Eurogamer Network has announced this morning Rezzed, a new show entirely for a PC-based audience.
Rezzed, which will focus only on PC and indie titles, will take place at the Brighton Centre between Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7, with an attendance of 5,000 expected.
The event comes just before this year's Eurogamer Expo in Earls Court in September.
"Following last year's hugely successful fourth Eurogamer Expo, we're broadening our horizons for 2012 by introducing a new summer event to highlight the best of PC and indie games," said Eurogamer boss Rupert Loman.
"PC and indie games are enjoying huge success now after years in the ascendancy and we want to draw more attention to that fact and give people the opportunity to get up close to the biggest names and games before they're released."
Rezzed already has support in the industry, with Sega set to turn up with Aliens: Colonial Marines. Other titles will be announced in due course.
A new indie showcase called The Leftfield Collection, sponsored by Sega, will be curated between Eurogamer and Rock, Paper, Shotgun - both of whom are also the main media sponsors.
Creative Assembly, Project Zomboid and others yet to be announced will take part in the developer sessions.
You can pick up tickets here. It's £12 for one day or £20 for both.
