After a difficult start at Imola, the Mexican race was far more intriguing for the Eurogamer Assetto Corsa Championship, and produced great action on the track.
The winner was Tuomas Thatela, driving for Supernova Racing Team sponsored by Sparco. It was a superb display of his racing skills, and he was chased all the way by an equally fast Hany Alsabti, with last lap drama that could have changed the outcome of the race. The third place of Jackub Charkot for the Ragnar Feeder Simulator was also excellent, and there was some great strategy from Kevin Siggy, along with solid drives from Massimo Masetti, David Greco and Pierre Potel.
The second episode of the SimracingZone Virtual Studio (above) explains in detail what happened during the first race at Imola. The qualifications have been amazing, thanks to the solid performances from many drivers. The last two minutes in particular were very exciting, with David Greco and Thuomas Tahtela fighting until the last gasp of time available: Tahtela won it by only 15 milliesconds.
Next week we will go live with the recap of the Mexican race through the SimracingZone.Net Virtual Studio and rest assured we will have a lot to talk about. For now, if you missed it, here are the recaps of yesterday's qualification and race: We hope you enjoy watching it.
