Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold coming west this summer - trailer
Etrian Odyssey isn't done yet; the second entry in the series is also getting the Untold treatment.
Etrian Odyssey 2: Heroes of Lagaard originally released on DS in 2008. Like its precusor, it's getting a 3DS remake under the Untold moniker.
Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 will include various improvements introduced with Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Milennium Girl, such as new graphics, dungeon layouts and system improvements.
It will also include a brand new story mode with a fixed party, voiced dialogue and animated cutscenes.
You'll be able to play in either Classic or Story mode; the latter will explain and explore the relationship between the Fafnir Knight and Princess Arianna. Picnic and Expert mode will be available in addition to normal difficulty.
Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 will release on 3DS in North America in northern summer. Pre-orders are available now, as is this lovely trailer:
