Epic Games Store sale includes Red Dead Redemption 2 for 40% off, Control for 50% off, and more

The recently announced Epic Games Store sale includes a variety of blockbuster games available for heavily-discounted prices, including Red Dead Redemption 2, Control, and more.

Kicking off today, May 14, and running until June 11, the Epic Games Store sale features a huge amount of games that have been massively reduced in price. On top of this, GTA 5 is currently available for free.

Other major titles that have received hefty discounts include Red Dead Redemption 2 at 40% off, Control at 50% off, Borderlands 3 at 50% off, and The Outer Worlds at 35% off.

Due to the nature of the Epic Games Mega Sale, players will receive a £10 coupon for every purchase they make at £13.99 or above. These coupons can then be redeemed for other games, including ones on sale.

Players will be able to download GTA 5 for free from now until May 21 at 4PM BST. If you claim it before then, it will be yours to keep. On top of this, a new game will be available to download for free each week for the duration of the Epic Games Mega Sale, so keep your eye on the rotation to make sure you get all of them.

Each and every player will also receive one £10 coupon to kick things off. This can be used to buy games on the Epic Games Store, and counts towards further coupons - if you use your coupon on a game priced at £13.99 or above, you will get another £10 coupon for that purchase, which can be then be used on other games, and so on.

The Epic Games Mega Sale kicks off today, May 14, and will run for four weeks through June 11. If you want to get GTA 5 for free, make sure you download it between now and May 21, at which point a new game will be rotated into the weekly free slot.
