Enterbrain: Bloomberg got it wrong on new DS at E3

According to this IGN report, Enterbrain president Hirakazu Hamamura has issued a statement claiming he was misquoted by Bloomberg and never said that we can expect a new version of DS to premiere at E3 this year.

According to the Enterbrain statement, Hamamura did suggest that we continue to pay close attention to the DS in the future. He also said that he's looking forward to E3. However, in light of the popularity of the system and Nintendo's difficulty in maintaining stock on a worldwide basis, he actually believes it unlikely that Nintendo would release a new form factor or a successor model.

The internet had a reasonably serious quiver last week when the Famitsu chief apparently said that a new DS model would air in LA this summer.
