Enslaved dated for October 8 [UPDATE]

Update: Apparently, some wires were crossed somewhere, because Namco has denied the October 8 date, and is claiming "October only".
Original: Enslaved will be released on October 8 for PS3 and Xbox 360, Namco Bandai said today.
Previous just set for "October", Enslaved takes place 150 years in the future and is based on the Chinese tale Journey to the West.
In the game, players take on the role of Monkey and his AI partner Trip, with both characters relying on each other to survive using different strengths and skills.
