End of Nations has globe-spanning events, 52 players on each map

Tron Worlds has revealed how it intends to put the "M" in MMO End of Nations.

"End of Nations makes 4v4 and 30 person battles look like child's play," presenter Cole Marshall said in the game's second Warfront developer diary.

"It's a truly persistant strategy game where you're not just running around on one map, using one player ... there's huge maps with a killer scale and diverse units. You can have 52 commanders on one map at once.

"We're gonna bring you some events which range across the entire planet. We're putting you in the middle of global warfare."

The dev diary, embedded below, also announces the release of a DC Comics series based on the game, and offers potential players the chance to suggest questions for an upcoming interview with community manager Lance James, a strategy gaming expert who has been ranked third in some global leagues.

Trion Worlds' strategy MMO is expected to go into beta soon.
