Elder Scrolls Online's first-person combat shown briefly in new trailer
The Elder Scrolls Online developer Bethesda has put out a new monster trailer, this time focusing on native Morrowind beastie the Kwama. It shows a fleeting glimpse of the MMO's much debated first-person combat in action.
The eagle-eyed types at PCGamesN spotted this one, and indeed the first-person combat looks fairly similar to the view seen in previous offline instalments.
Check it out:
On the Kwama monster, Bethesda confirmed it'll come in three forms - scrib, worker, and warrior - and will double up attacks to make new abilities the team is calling “synergies".
One example sees the Kwama Worker charging at your team while ripping up the ground, while a Warrior can then lift rocks from the Worker's track to throw at you, which spawns more Kwama into the fight.
Bethesda's Kwama blog reads, "These combinations play on the natural cooperation between the different kinds of kwama and help them feel like a cohesive group. A kwama on its own may not be a big threat, but they can be overwhelming when they work together.
If you want more, this recent Elder Scrolls Online blog discusses the MMO's many dungeons and the monsters you'll find inside.
