El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron going 2D, coming to Android

El Shaddai's taking its drop-dead gorgeous show on the road. Or at least, roads paved with Google's ever-popular mobile OS. Famitsu (via Andriasang) revealed the bite-sized adaptation to be a 2D platformer, which is pretty much par for the course with these things. Leap-based shenanigans are, of course, great and all, but the real question is whether or not the game's unique sense of style made the jump intact. So far, we've only got one screen to go on, but, uh, let's just say they could have picked a better screen.
