El Chavo Kart is like Mario Kart if it was based on a 70s Mexican sitcom

In more Latin America news, Mexican studio Slang are developing a game based on a immensely popular Latin sitcom from the 70s called El Chavo, which centres around the adventures of a young boy in an apartment complex played by a grown man. There's a surprisingly impressive video of the game below the jump and it's apparently coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Vita.

Now the game appears to be based not primarily on the old sitcom but rather a children's cartoon version that's been made for the last few years, but I'm still impressed by the level of polish that's gone into a game that will probably never touch either the English of Japanese markets.

Although it has been rated by the ESRB, so who knows?
