eJay Pure: Kickstarter launched for iOS, Android devices
eJay Pure could see the music-creation franchise relaunched this year if its newly-posted Kickstarter campaign proves successful.
The game has been in development for nine months already, and is a collaboration between original eJay creators Helmut Schmitz and Bernhard Throll, as well as indie studio Wired Productions.
Over on the eJay Pure Kickstarter page, the team is looking for £150,000 with 29 days left on the clock.
eJay creator Helmut Schmitz said in a press release, “eJay singlehandedly created a music creation phenomenon. Its simplicity belied an engine which allowed for incredible flexibility and stunning production values.
"Some of the tunes which emerged from the eJay series are still played in clubs all over the world. The idea that we’ll be able to put this technology into people’s hands is tremendously exciting.”
There's a ton of information on the Kickstarter page regarding genres - dubstep is in there, naturally - and there's a lot of swag for backers too. Check it out.
