A Mirror's Edge Catalyst session was held, and as we previously told you, it was hosted by design director Erik Odeldahl. He discussed the inspirations ans steps taken when developing the follow-up, and you can watch the talk below.
The Technology Behind Dying Light
A Dying Light session hosted by Tecland's director of R&D Pawel Rohleder discussed the positive and negative of developing in-house tech. He also touched up on how tech can affect the gamepaly experience.
Total War: Warhammer, Vemintide, Creative Assembly Jam
More panels occurred today, and Creative Assembly kicked things off with a discussion on the siege battle AI in Total War: Warhammer.
A presentation for Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide followed with the game's associate producer Liam O'Neill going over the development and release of Vermintide. He also discussed the future of the game.
With Microsoft's closure of Lionhead Studios imminent, a retrospective featuring Bullfrog and Lionhead was held. The former staffers reminisced on the studios' various achievements from the release of Dungeon Keeper all the way up to Fable.
Finally, the Creative Assembly returned to close things out today with its annual GameJam.
