EGX moves back to London for 2019
The UK's biggest video game event, EGX, is moving back to London in 2019.
After four years in Birmingham, EGX 2019 will take place at ExCel in London, October 17 - 20.
Ticket discounts and a travel solution to and from London will be offered to residents of Birmingham and the surrounding area as a thank you from the show's organisers for supporting the event outside of the capital.
"We are thrilled to be bringing EGX home," said David Lilley, event director.
"Moving back to London means we can grow all elements of the show and add new content and features that we know our fans desire, making this an unmissable outing for gamers and the UK games industry."
EGX 2019 promises the same successful formula as previous years; blockbuster games, indies, cosplay, esports, meet and greets, tabletop, retro zones and a career fair.
Following EGX 2019, EGX Berlin will return to Germany, taking place at Station Berlin November 1- 3.
If you can't wait for either of those, EGX Rezzed takes place April 4-6 at Tobacco Dock and tickets are on sale now.
EGX is part of Gamer Network and ReedPOP, which owns VG247.
