Ed Boon tweets hints about possible DLC characters for Mortal Kombat

Ed Boon has hinted around at some of the characters that may end up being releases in DLC packs for Netherealm's upcoming Mortal Kombat game.

According to a tweet from Boon, courtesy of Giant Bomb, Boon wants his followers to choose between some of the series iconic fighters.

Here's the tweet in full:

"Tell me your order of preference for a DLC character. Rain, Shinnok, Kenshi, Robo-smoke, or new character?"

Mortal Kombat 4's Tanya was added to the list in a later tweet.

Mortal Kombat releases sometime this year for PS3 and Xbox 360.
