EA, Zynga and Microsoft part of anti-DOMA coalition
EA is the latest of some 40 major US companies and organisations throwing their weight behind an amicus brief to challenge the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). At least two other gaming companies are on board - Zynga and Microsoft - but EA's public announcement has caught the attention of gamers this morning. The publisher cites business disruptions caused by unequal and possibly unconstitutional portions of DOMA, but the rainbow flag the company is sporting along with its recognised corporate stance for LGBT equality are winning a few hearts.
Thanks, Kotaku.
