EA to release games on Thursdays in the UK going forward

All EA games will be hitting store shelves in the UK on Thursdays instead of Fridays.
EA has announced that it will be releasing games in the UK on Thursday instead of Friday - the current industry standard in the region. The publisher announced the move earlier this week, saying that now UK gamers will be getting games on the same day as their European buddies.
The first game to follow the new release schedule will be Madden NFL 16, releasing on August 27, followed by FIFA 16 on September 24.
This would work great for fall games too, starting with Need for Speed on November 5, and Star Wars Battlefront on November 19.
