EA: Tiger Woods needs to end his losing streak for parternship to "make sense"

Trust. Betrayal. Sex. Lies. Blunt weaponry.

It's just another day in the exciting, madcap world... of golf?

"We have no plans to move away from him, but it's a business relationship on the basis of we make the best golf game and he's the best golfer," EA CEO John Ricitiello told Reuters (via NBC). "Both of those things need to be true in the long run for the partnership to make sense."

Woods, of course, was recently involved in much-publicized sex scandal, and hasn't won a single golf tournament since. As a result, the man named after the real king of the jungle lost his throne atop the golfing world.

"He sort of stuck with us for a very long time and we made great business together, and we're willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for a period of time," Ricitiello made sure to add.

So Tiger's not in dire straits just yet, but he's not (TURN BACK - AWFUL PUNS DWELL HERE) out of the woods yet either.
