EA Sports UFC 4 will be released on August 14 for PS4 and Xbox One

EA Sports has announced an August release date for UFC 4.

EA Sports UFC 4 will be released on August 14 and will feature Israel Adesanya and Jorge Masvidal as global cover stars.

In the game, your fight style, achievements, personality will "shape" the fighter you become as you go from an unknown amateur to UFC superstar in Career Mode.

Fights are promised to feel more authentic with "fluid clinch-to-strike combinations" and takedowns have been overhauled alongside the ground mechanics.

The game features all-new environments such as the UFC Apex and Action Avenue. You can even brawl in backyards and Kumite. UFC 4 also features Blitz Battles in which you will fight other players online in a round-based "rapid-fire tournament." A constant rotation of rulesets promises to keep the experience fresh.

It also features online World Championships to become the undisputed champ.

Those who pre-order the game on PS4 or Xbox Onewill be able to play as Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury at launch.
