EA extends Holiday MS Points rebate incentive

EA has extended its Xbox Live Holiday Discounts promotion.
Originally scheduled to end today, the deal has been extended and the points will be awarded sometime in February, an EA spokesperson told Eurogamer.
Basically, if you purchased three or more "eligible pieces of content" via XBL Marketplace between December 25 and the new date of January 31, you are credited points as a "thank you" for buying EA games.
Folks had wondered why the points had been yet to be credited to their accounts after purchases, thinking the offer was an "instant" rebate.
