E3 2012: Complete coverage from all press conferences

Don't be overwhelmed by the enormous flood of headlines out of E3 2012. We've compiled everything neatly in one place, which you can fossick among for the treasures which please you best.

Your first stop should be Microsoft's press conference, which kicked off proceedings on day one. Read our full report and live blog, but be sure to follow the links to some of the highlights - a tremendous new Tomb Raider gameplay reel, the debut trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, a Halo 4 demo, and the trailer for Gears of War: Judgement.

EA took the next slot of the day, and again, we have a full report for you, but the key moments included the news that The Old Republic is going free-to-play to level 15; our first proper look at Dead Space 3, a new trailer for Crysis 3 to accompany its slightly-less-vague release date, and the sudden launch of Battlefield Premium.

Ubisoft was in third place for day one of E3 2012, but pulled out the stops to front one of its best shows in years. The craziness kept to a minimum, but the games kept coming - premiere among them the stunning looking Watch Dogs, a brand-new IP from Ubisoft Montreal. Other highlights: Assassin's Creed III looking absolutely fabulous, an intense and controversial Far Cry 3 demo (read Nathan's impressions of it here), and the renaming of Killer Freaks from Outer Space to ZombiU, with appropriate casting shifts.

Sony closed out the first day and had a heck of a lot to say and show. Check out Quantic Dream's Beyond: Two Souls, go mad over The Last of Us gameplay footage, nod happily over the God of War: Ascension demo, and check out the new Assassin's Creed game for Vita.

Of course, it was Nintendo which started the party, with a pre-show Wii U concept presentation ahead of its main press conference tomorrow. Nintendo's main software event saw the announcement of Pikmin 3, a new Wii U Mario game and much more.

We're going for completeness here, so while you're refreshing, don't forget to revist GT.TV's pre-E3 show, where Star Wars 1313 was announced, and we were graced with Dishonored's E3 2012 trailer.

Konami also held its event pre-show, and had quite a lot to talk about; the new Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Zone of the Enders HD footage, and the hype-worthy Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
