E3 2011 floor plan revealed

The team of trained monkeys that works behind the scenes at E3 have seen fit to release the floor plans for the event (coming up all-too-soon!), so you can start to plot your movements in Los Angeles between June 7-9.

The information, presented on the MapYourShow website is clearly laid out, with a simple hover-to-pop-out description of each exhibitor (as always, click for more information).

E3 2011 - Floor Plan

Just like in previous years, the show floor in the West Hall is dominated by Sony and Nintendo, with two massive spaces each. Microsoft makes its appearance over in the curved South Hall, tucked in behind EA's prime position and nestled between Ubisoft, SEGA and Square Enix.

Activision are also in the South Hall, in a pretty lovely spot up the back where it looms over Atari's tiny booth. We're not sure if it was accidentally stashed next to the Parrot AR Drone, or if that's THQ's way of keeping an eye on the competition (THQ's booth is right over the other side of the hall).

You can get a list of some of the developers and publishers which will be attending through D'toid.

While you're poking around the MapYourShow website, you'll notice a few other bits and pieces thrown in to make the experience more enjoyable. Plan your trip through the show floor, and keep track of the companies you want to visit with the MyE3Expo Agenda planner.

It's just like being there, but quieter, and I'm sure it smells an awful lot nicer.
