Here's a closer look at the amiibo coming to Skylanders SuperChargers

Nintendo announced at E3 2015 yesterday two of its characters will appear in Skylanders SuperChargers on September 20.

The partnership with Activision adds Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser. Each will use their own unique vehicle to battle Kaos and The Darkness.

These characters will work as both Skylanders and amiibo figures on Nintendo systems. The amiibo will also be incorporated into other Nintendo titles in the future.

The Skylanders Wii U Starter Packs will run you $74.99 and includes Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and his signature vehicle, Barrel Blaster. The Skylanders Wii and 3DS Starter Packs will run as $74.99 and $64.99, respectively, and include Hammer Slam Bowser and his signature vehicle, Clown Cruiser.

All three Skylanders SuperChargers Starter Packs for Nintendo platforms also include Super Shot Stealth Elf, a newly designed Portal of Power+ and the full game.
