Dungeon Keeper original is free in GOG Valentine's sale weekend
Dungeon Keeper has been causing a bit of a stir recently due to EA's microtansaction-heavy remake, a game which I thoroughly slated in my recent opinion blog. It's a horrid example of sheer exploitation and dirty tricks in the freemium circuit.
But don't fret, because Lionhead's original Dungeon Keeper Gold - which includes its expansion - is free this weekend GOG.com and it's also ten times better. Dungeon Keeper 2 is also in the sale, and you can grab it for just $1.49.
Eurogamer adds that the sale includes 29 games that are discounted by as much at 90%.
They've flagged up the rather generous Dungeons & Dragons bundle, which includes the following games for $21.10:
- Baldur's Gate 1 and 2
- Icewind Dale 1 and 2
- Planescape: Torment
- Neverwinter Nights
- Temple of Elemental Evil
- Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone
- Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard
