Duelyst reaches Kickstarter goal with 23 days left

Duelyst, the turn-based strategy title from former Blizzard and Insomniac devs, has reached its $68,000 funding goal today.

Counterplay Games broke the news on its Kickstarter page, saying, "Thank you all, our backers, for believing in us! Please know that we're all extremely excited that Duelyst can now be enjoyed by like-minded tbs and tactics gamers later this year!

"And although we still have a long development road ahead of us, your early support for our game makes all the difference in driving towards building something awesome together."

The studio also promised more updates as the campaign progresses. The game has currently amassed $70,671, at the time of writing. Stretch goals start with $88,000 and end with $160,000, and with 23 days to go, there's a good chance it will hit some of them.
