Drakengard 3 second pre-order bonus and novella announced, Shiba video interview inside

Drakengard 3's second wave of pre-order bonuses have been announced along with other goodies for fans of the series.

Pre-ordering any time between now and April 9 will grant players the Nier costume pack, giving you the ability to equip Zero in the costume of everyone’s favorite, foul-mouthed warrior, Kainè, or don the Replicant version of the game’s protagonist. Your dragon will also get the Emil hat.

The Nier costume pack expires an the aforementioned date, and by ordering early you will also net another bonus to be revealed that day. Those who already pre-ordered will net the Nier costume pack and another other bits of content announced in the next wave.

An interview with the producer of the series, Takamasa Shiba, has also been released, and in the video he discusses his experiences; how the series evolved; and his idea of creating a prequel novella. It's below.

The first chapter of the novella starring Zero can be found through the official website for the game. More chapters of the novella will be added to the website, and more interviews with the developers are coming soon.

Drakengard 3 releases on May 20, and pre-orders can be purchased through the Square Enix Online Store for $49.99 or you can go the digital route via PlayStation Network.
