Dragon Quest X requires three player-created characters
During the opening hours of Dragon Quest X, you'll have to create three different characters.
Andriasang reports players will first create a human player character and a sibling for him or her.
These two characters appear in the offline portion of the game, and are restricted to a single village.
After the player's pair of siblings become involved in some mysterious event, the game then prompts you to create the character used on the rest of the map - one of five non-human races.
Although players can choose to solo the game, to play outside the initial village you'll need an Internet connection.
Dragon Quest X releases for Wii in June; the Wii U version is yet to be dated. Hit the link above for a pile of new screens related to the early portion of the game and character creation.
