Dragon Ball Z headed to Kinect in October

Gesture frantically at the latest of Namco Bandai's Dragon Ball Z tie-ins.

A well as taking in all the usual sights, the game will include anime footage which has never aired in English before.

Played entirely in first-person mode, Dragon Ball Z Kinect has players following along with famous scenes and battles, emulating the character's movement through anime-style camera work. A score attack mode is available for perfecting your moves in addition to the story mode.

The motion controls support over 100 commands, which naturally includes the Kamehameha and more than 50 playable characters, including one entirely new one. Sounds like a hefty package, but you can speed your progress using QR codes, which unlock characters and power ups.

Developed by Spike Chunsoft, Dragon Ball Z Kinect is expected in Europe and the US in October.
