Dragon Ball FighterZ PS4 and Xbox-only beta: start time, modes, stages and everything else you need to know

The Dragon Ball FighterZ beta returns this week - here's how you can get involved and what you get to play.

The 3-on-3 fighter plays great, with lightning-quick combos and a crisp art-style that’s faithful to the beloved anime, and now’s your chance to get to grips with it. Unlike the closed beta back in September, this time it’s open to all players.

Update: The Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta has been extended, and will be live for another 24 hours: The new times are January 17 at 9pm PST, or 5am GMT on January 18. The open beta will close at 9pm PST January 18, or 5am GMT on January 19.

Original story: The console-exclusive beta will begin on Saturday January 13, 2018 if you’ve pre-ordered the game, while everyone else will be able to get in on Sunday January 14.

Unfortunately, there will be no Dragon Ball FighterZ PC beta this time around.
