Dragon Age: Inquisition, Shadow of Mordor up for D.I.C.E. Game of the Year Award
Nominees for the 2015 D.I.C.E. Awards have been announced and Game of the Year contenders are Destiny, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.
Al Alcorn and Ralph Baer will both be honored with the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' Pioneer Award, which will be presented to Alcorn and posthumously to Baer by EA's chief creative director Rich Hilleman.
Al Alcorn developed Pong for home consoles in 1974 and left Atari in 1983. He has also previously worked for Apple.
Baer's son Mark and Alex Baer will accept the award on his behalf.
