Dragon Age: Inquisition screens show nug, baby dragon
A pair of new Dragon Age: Inquisition screenshots show off the new look for two of the franchise's most important creatures - the titular dragons, and the rabbit-like nug.
The two screens were released on Twitter by cinematic director Jonathan Perry. As such, they may come from cut-scenes rather than in-game, although the franchise has so far mostly used in-engine cinematics except for trailers and opening movies. The first shows a baby dragon - they get much bigger.
The second is a nug. Also known as mudsplashers, nugs are blind, burrowing creatures a little bit like pigs, and are one of the staples of dwarven diets, as they can be cultivated underground. They appear in a couple of places in Dragon Age: Origins, including in The Pearl, but aren't present in Kirkwall due to their having been exterminated in fear of the Blight.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in northern autumn 2014.
