Talk to Morrigan at Skyhold and join her at the Altar of Mythal
Find Morrigan in the gardens at Skyhold and initiate a conversation to trigger a cutscene. In the Quest Map, view the World Map and choose the Altar of Mythal. Proceed along the path to the southeast and when you reach the altar, you’ll trigger a cutscene. Check the box next to the altar and return to Skyfall.
Doom Upon All the World
Go to the War Room
Make your way to the war room, highlight Ferelden on the map and select “Doom Upon All the World” to trigger a cutscene, that will lead to the final boss battle against Corypheus.
Corypheus Boss Battle
HP: 108, 101
Perceptive
Immune: All disabling effects
Red Lyrium Dragon Boss Battle
HP: 190, 279
Perceptive
Immune: Slowed, All disabling effects
Ideally, your party will consist of 3 mages with barrier spells and a warrior with a host of taunt abilities kitted out with a shield and sword. It should go without saying that you want to keep barrier spells on the go throughout this fight.
During the first part of the battle, use ranged attacks and barrier spells. Corypheus won’t stay in one place for long, melee fighters will have a hard time keeping up with him. He will eventually head up the stairs to a second spot. Follow him up, replenishing your inventory along the way. Carry on whittling him down until his HP is at 50% to trigger a cutscene involving a couple of dragons.
Now you’ll have to face the Red Lyrium Dragon but on the plus side, its HP is already down by half. Cast barrier spells and have any ranged fighters stay back so they don’t get hit by the dragon’s claw attack. Focus attacks on the dragon’s legs to slow it down. The daragon also has a breath attack that it will direct at the tank in your party so have barrier spells on the target and get everyone else behind it to stay clear.
Persist on chipping away at it - which may take a while - and when it’s almost dead, a cutscene will trigger, ending this confrontation. Head up the stairs, restocking once more in preparation for the last phase of the battle.
Corypheus is at the top of the stairs, and although his HP is still at 50%, he has renewed vigour and will teleporting about the place like nobody’s business, making it even more difficult for melee fighters to keep up.
Get the barrier spells on the go and have your warrior use his taunt abilities to draw this attention. The boss has a projectile attack that will strike all party members with beams, but as long as the warrior is occupying him, this is the only attack the rest of the party need be concerned with.
Once you defeat Corypheus, there will be one last cutscene, Chat to anyone you so desire and return to your room via the northeast door in the corner to take a well-deserved rest and pray that your eyebrows haven’t been singed off by rogue dragons.
And that’s the end of that! You’ve wrapped up the main quest line, so now it’s time to answer the big questions in life. Like what to play next?
