Valve has announced the 2015 Collector’s Aegis of Champions, a 1/5th scale alloy replica of the winner’s trophy at The International. The antique brass-plated trophy has a gold finished insignia, and the year inscribed on the back.

The only way to secure this collectible is to reach level 1,000 in the Dota 2 2015 Compendium, a purchasable add-on that provides premium access to The International information, tracks your activities, rewards you with various goodies and bonuses, and helps contribute to the total prize pool of The International 2015 - now at over $15 million.

"After the conclusion of the grand finals of The International, we will send the Collector’s Aegis to all players with a Compendium Level of 1,000 or above," Valve wrote in a new Dota 2 blog post, asking eligible players to provide their shipping details.

"Additionally, when in a Dota match, the Aegis of Champions in the player’s fountain will have a special glow effect that lasts until the next International."

If you want to buy your way into these coveted ranks, it's going to cost you. The cheapest bundle of Compendium levels is 24 for $10, meaning you'd need to fork out over $420.

This is a last resort method, though, as there are other ways to earn Compendium levels, such as completing Challenges and recycling items. Check your Compendum for details on how to earn points - you need 100 for each level, so a total of 100,000 points.

You'll need to work hard, though; The International runs August 3 through 8.
