Disney Infinity Monsters University play set trailer
Disney has released the trailer for the Monsters University play set that will be available in the Disney Infinity starter pack along with the Pirates of the Caribbean and The Incredibles play sets.
The trailer, courtesy of Polygon, shows off the Monsters University play set, a self-contained world based on the upcoming movie that involves its own gameplay. Mike, Sulley and Randy are seen in their college days, including the exchange of pranks with rival shool Fear Tech. It also shows some of the use of the Toy Box and how the monsters can interact within it.
Characters from a play set cannot enter other play set worlds but can be used in the Toy Box mode, a free play mode that can be customized with unlocked items by players and explored with any character.
The game has similarities to Skylanders with collectible characters that are synthesized into the game. Characters will be from Disney and Pixar movies and series.
