Discord's Go Live feature allows you to stream gameplay to up to 10 friends

Go Live is a new feature rolling out next week which allows Discord users to stream their gameplay to friends.

Discord's Go Live feature will be released on August 15, and it allows you to stream gameplay to up to 10 friends right from your server.

It sounds rather easy, as all you have to do is hit that stream button and stream a game to your Discord server - all with one click. Friends can then view your stream using the desktop app or through their browser. They can event chat with you in the process. Go Live will allow mobile spectating later this year.

According to Discord, Go Live supports low-latency streaming and integrated voice chat. The service is "hardware optimized" to ensure minimal impact on game performance.

If you subscribe to Discord’s Nitro service, you will unlock streaming quality up to 4K and 60 fps. Nitro Classic users can stream video up to 1080p and 60 fps.

It sounds like fun, honestly. Chatting with up to 10 buddies while you share your gameplay, having them critique your abilities and cause you to mess up by cracking a joke as if they are sitting on the couch next to you. That's how our friends are at least. We'll have to give this a try.
