DICE shows off Frostbite 2 engine in video
DICE has released a new video of Frostbite 2, the engine that will power Battlefield 3.
The four-minute video shows off the "real-time radiosity" of the engine, with multiple environments shown throughout. The very start of the video even has a look similar to that of the Swedish studio's action parkour title Mirror's Edge.
The presentation of the engine, by DICE's Per Einarsson and Sam Martin from Geomarics, is below.
Battlefield 3, teased for the first time this week and throughout this past weekend, releases this fall for PC, 360 and PS3.
