DICE currently shooting motion-capture sequences for Battlefield 3 in Uppsala, Sweden

DICE is shooting some motion-capture sequences for Battlefield 3 in Uppsala, Sweden between now and May 27, according to a casting call notice dug up by Reddit.

According to the listing posted by a Greek actor's group on Facebook, the motion capture sequences are being produced by Lo Wallmo, and directed by Tom Keegan who is also the casting director for the motion capture filming.

The listing stated it was looking for "male actors with strong acting ability and credits in Film, TV and Theatre," for the roles of American Marines 20-35, Russian Special Agents 25-40, and Persian/Farsi Speakers 35-60.

Actors who speak English, Russian, Farsi, and Arabic were preferable, and auditions were held in London on April 11, 12, and 13.

While this is not earth-shattering news, it is interesting, especially to those interested in a game's developmental process.

Battlefield 3 is scheduled for a fall release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
