Diablo 3 Starter Edition now free-to-play for all

Diablo 3's Starter Edition, a limited version of the action RPG which goes up to level 13 and the Skeleton King boss in Act I, is now available to everyone. The taster edition was previously restricted to those who were waiting for credit card purchases to be processed, or had received a guest pass from a friend. Grab the free-to-play version by borrowing a game disc from a mate; creating a new Battle.net account; or visiting the "Your Game Accounts" section of your existing Battle.net account.
