Diablo 3 auction house to be taken down March 18, Blizzard explains all in this trailer

Diablo 3 developer Blizzard Entertainment will close the RPGs polarising auction house. In a video explaining the decision, the studio explained that its aim to deliver a safe and convenient way to trade items became a "double-edged sword."
It follows this Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls TV spot. The expansion hits PC and Mac on March 25.
The video above explains all, but until March 18 Blizzard will support the auction house in full, along with Diablo 3 patch 2.0.2, which has yet to launch outside of North America. You'll find patch notes through the link.
