Diablo 3 2.1.1 patch is out now, makes pets no longer useless
Blizzard has released patch 2.1.1 for Diablo 3. The patch comes with a range of improvements that include buffing pets, changes to Adventure Mode and increasing the drop rate for Rift Guardians.
Blizzard posted a detailed blog explaining all the changes. Of note are the life and speed increase to some of the pet skills for the Witch Doctor class, increasing the chances of getting legendary items from the merchant Kadala in Adventure Mode, while also making them cost more Blood Shards.
Other notable changes include increasing the drop rate of crafting materials when killing Rift Guardians, which is aimed at offsetting the decreased number of crafting materials you'll be getting from Kadala.
The patch is currently only available for the PC version of the game, though Blizzard said the console versions should follow soon.
